Hazelwood Farm provides self catering accommodation on the Isle of Arran. We are located at Imachar, near Pirnmill on the west coast of the island.
You may have already made up your mind to come to the Isle of Arran but, in case you haven't, let's see what the Scottish Tourist Board have to say about the island:
"A fascinating and surprising island that never ceases to exert its unique magic on visitors of all generations, it has an unrivalled range of landscapes, covering the whole spectrum of Scottish scenery in one delightfully compact package. It is big enough to offer a bewildering variety of activities yet small enough to retain its intimate island atmosphere. All of which adds up to a holiday destination that is as exciting as it is peaceful and as fascinating as it is fun."
We are a working sheep farm offering self catering accommodation on a weekly basis. Our farmhouse is over one hundred years old and is in an idyllic location at the top of a brae in lovely grounds and two minutes walk from the beach.
What a recent visitor said about our cottage:
"Lovely, peaceful, idyllic. The rooms are very comfortable and the views spectacular! I’ll definitely be going back."
We are in the perfect location for a tranquil and relaxing holiday, while offering local amenities as well. We are in an excellent position for walking - both hill and coast - and are a short car or bus journey from some of the Isle of Arran’s most famous sites: the standing stones on Machrie Moor, King’s Caves (where Robert the Bruce is said to have spent the night) and the Twelve Apostles at Catacol.
We offer self catering accommodation to sleep up to seven, with cot provided if necessary, and you will also have full access to your own kitchen, lounge (with open fire) and bath/shower room. Above all we offer a homely welcome and top, rustic accommodation for a perfectly relaxing holiday. If this sounds what you are looking for please send us an e-mail or fill in our enquiries form.
